Clay Dike on East Side of Timberline
COPIED FROM SHANNON
During the Tuesday, February 08, 2011 flood meeting the city presented a plan that would place a clay levee along the coulee (east side) in Timberline. This levee would be built to a flood protection level of 44 feet. Those residents that would be affected are those whose backyards border the creek.
Maps indicating the placement of these levees can be found at the links below.
In order for the city to implement this proposed plan, consent waivers need to be signed prior to any work being performed. The consent waivers can be found here 2011 Consent Form.
A neighborhood meeting with city representatives is going to be scheduled for one day next week. Once the date and location within the neighborhood are chosen I will send out a message. Consent forms can be turned in at this meeting.
