FARGO, N.D. (March 20, 2010) – Crews from the City of Fargo Street Department are in the process of cleaning up plastic, plywood and other debris from neighborhoods. Crews will also continue to remove unused sandbags and pallets from neighborhoods. Street sweepers have cleaned main truck routes and are now on standby to clean neighborhood streets which were used by flood trucks. Due to the water used in street sweepers, they cannot clean roads properly until temperatures reach 32 degrees. Crews will being sweeping as soon as the weather allows.
