PREFABRICATED FLOOD BARRIER.  The prefabricated flood barrier is substantially in place now.  Wanzek construction will be working through the night to fill the prefabricated flood barrier with sand (everyone is asked to turn on their yard lights to help light up the work area for the workers).

SANDBAGGING.  The sandbagging went very well today.  We are about 65% done with Craig/Lisa Dresser’s house and then there are a couple other properties that require sandbags.  We are all meeting at Dresser’s at 7 am to start sandbagging, so the more people you can bring the better!  We should be done sandbagging the significant portions by Tuesday afternoon, so come early if you want to help!

Thanks to everyone that is helping out with the sandbagging (and the food preparation) as it is greatly appreciated.  A special thanks to Rory Kieland and his crew (and all of their equipment) for making the job A LOT EASIER today!
